These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Chrisco Ltd. Brands, LLC (“we,” “us” or “our”), which operates MeetChrisDawkins.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, joining our email list, becoming a member or booking a consultation, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About the Site
MeetChrisDawkins.com is the home of Chris Dawkins, consultant, executive producer, publisher and community advocate. The Site shares information about Chris’s work, affiliations and projects, and offers a paid membership and one-on-one consultations.
2. Who Can Use the Site
Anyone may browse the Site. You must be at least 18 years old to become a member, book a consultation or make a purchase.
3. Membership
Membership costs $19.99 per month. It gives you access to the lower-rate cellphone and cable plans available through the Site, along with any other member benefits we describe on the membership page. One-on-one consultations are not included; they are a separate paid add-on.
4. 21-Day Free Period and Automatic Billing
New members get a 21-day free period. You will not be charged during those 21 days.
- On day 22, your card will be charged $19.99 automatically, and every month after that on the same date, until you cancel.
- If you cancel before day 22, you will not be charged.
- The free period is available once per person.
- We will email you a reminder before your free period ends.
By joining, you authorize us and our payment processor, Stripe, to charge your payment method each month until you cancel. Payments are subject to Stripe’s own terms. We do not store your full card number.
If we change the membership price, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. You can cancel before then if you do not want to continue.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel your membership or any consultation add-on at any time, from your account page or by emailing chris@meetchrisdawkins.com.
When you cancel, you will not be charged again. Your membership stays active until the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not give partial refunds for unused days, except where the law requires it. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days and we will make it right.
6. Consultations
One-on-one consultations with Chris are a paid add-on, priced as shown when you book.
- Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a consultation. Consultations cancelled with less notice, or missed, may not be refunded.
- If we need to cancel, we will reschedule or give you a full refund.
- Consultations offer Chris’s experience and perspective as an entrepreneur and community advocate. They are not legal, financial, tax, investment or medical advice. For those matters, consult a licensed professional.
- We cannot guarantee any particular result. Decisions you make after a consultation are your own.
7. Cellphone, Cable and Partner Offers
The cellphone, cable and other plans available to members are provided by outside companies, not by us. When you sign up for one of these plans:
- your service agreement is with that provider, and its own terms, pricing, credit checks and contracts apply;
- the provider is responsible for the service, billing, equipment and customer support;
- plan prices and availability are set by the provider and may change at any time.
We may receive a commission or other compensation when you sign up for a partner plan. This does not change the price you pay.
8. Email List
When you join our email list, you agree to receive newsletters and updates from MeetChrisDawkins.com. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Members will still receive account and billing emails while their membership is active.
9. Your Account
If you create an account, give accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone has used it without permission.
10. Our Content
The Site’s text, photos, videos, logos (including the Meet Chris Dawkins logo and MCD monogram) and design belong to Chrisco Ltd. Brands, LLC or Chris Dawkins. You may view and share links to the Site for personal use. You may not copy, republish or sell our content, or use Chris Dawkins’s name, image or likeness, without our written permission.
11. Site Rules
When using the Site, you may not:
- send spam, harassing or abusive messages through our forms;
- give false information or impersonate someone else;
- try to hack, scrape, overload or interfere with the Site;
- share member-only offers or pricing with non-members, or resell them;
- use the Site for anything illegal.
We may suspend or end any account or membership that breaks these rules. If we end a membership for a reason other than a violation of these Terms, we will refund any unused prepaid amount.
12. Links to Other Sites
The Site links to other websites, including Chris’s other brands, affiliated organizations, projects and partner providers. We are not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of sites we do not operate.
13. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SITE WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY PARTNER PLAN OR CONSULTATION WILL PRODUCE A PARTICULAR RESULT.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, CHRISCO LTD. BRANDS, LLC, CHRIS DAWKINS AND THEIR CONTRACTORS AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, A MEMBERSHIP, A CONSULTATION OR A PARTNER PLAN. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.
15. Indemnification
You agree to hold us harmless from claims, losses and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
16. Governing Law, Disputes and Changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Before filing any claim, please contact us and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts in Bexar County, Texas, except that either of us may use small claims court.
We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the new date at the top. If a change affects your membership in a significant way, we will email you before it takes effect. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
